There is so much happening this month with Stampin’ Up! — new products, fun promotions, and creative challenges — so instead of choosing just one thing, I decided to connect a few dots and see where the creativity took us.
What I Used in This Week’s Live
For this project, I combined:
- The January #SUChallenge card sketch
- January’s Product of the Month: Fabulous Sayings
- Scraps and leftover pieces already on my desk (always my favourite starting point!)
This is exactly why I love sketches — they give you a plan without boxing you in.

January Product of the Month: Fabulous Sayings
This month’s Product of the Month is the Fabulous Sayings stamp set, and I’ll admit — when I first saw it, I wasn’t totally sure how I’d use it for scrapbooking.
Once I started playing, though, I was sold.
The sentiments are bold, generously sized, and perfect for A2 cards. They also mix beautifully with the smaller phrases, making this set far more versatile than it looks at first glance.
👉 When you place a qualifying order with me this month, you can purchase Fabulous Sayings at a deep discount — and you’ll also receive:
- A workshop guide
- A tutorial bundle featuring 12 projects using this month’s Product of the Month
(And yes… I did turn this stamp set into a scrapbook layout 😉)

Card One: Scrappy & Bold
The first card leans into scraps — little bits left over from a paper pack that came together in a totally unexpected way. This sketch is perfect for that “end-of-the-pack” moment when you don’t want to waste a thing.
Same sketch. Lots of layers. Zero overthinking.
Card Two: Patchwork Vibes
The second card was inspired by my Product of the Month tutorial project and uses pieces cut from Memories & More cards. Instead of using the full cards, I pulled out specific areas I loved and layered them like a little paper puzzle.
It reminds me of a patchwork quilt — different pieces, one finished story.
Why This Sketch Is a Keeper
This sketch:
- Works beautifully with scraps
- Can be literal or loosely interpreted
- Easily adapts for cards or scrapbook pages
And honestly… don’t be surprised if it shows up again in scrapbook form later this month 😉
