A few weeks ago, I went live to Chris-ify an adorable Halloween banner from Stampin’ Up! — and it turned out stinkin’ cute! 💜
When I went to hang it up, I caught myself thinking… this would make the cutest scrapbook layout. You know how it goes — one idea sparks another, and before you know it, you’re pulling out paper, adhesive, and a fresh cup of coffee. ☕
So this week, that’s exactly what I did — I took my original banner and turned it into a double-page scrapbook spread, and oh boy, was I right! It came together better than I imagined.

🎨 From Décor to Double Page
The banner had so much personality already — bold letters, playful critters, and those candy-bright colors that just make me smile. It didn’t take much to reimagine it on 12″ x 12″ pages!
I started by creating a misty Halloween background using my Stampin’ Spritzer with a few drops of Basic Gray reinkermixed with water. A few light spritzes gave the cardstock the perfect smoky texture — just enough to feel spooky without stealing the spotlight. 🕸️
Then I carried over the same bright color combo from my banner:
Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Petunia Pop (honestly, this trio makes my heart happy every time I use it 💜🧡💛).
The “BOO” panels stretch across both pages, creating a fun sense of movement, and the little die-cut details — bats, pumpkins, and stars — bring the whole design to life. I even tucked in a few playful photos (with some very cute models 🐾) that made the layout feel extra special.

💡 Creative Takeaway
Sometimes your next project is hiding right inside your last one! You don’t always have to start from scratch — a banner can become a scrapbook page, a card can inspire a title block, and a color combo can lead you somewhere totally new.
I love when creativity snowballs like that — it’s the best kind of boo-tiful surprise. 😉
