Thinking Outside the Box: Stamp Sets Beyond Cards
Stamp sets are often seen as tools for cardmaking, but their potential goes far beyond that. The More Than Autumn stamp set is a perfect example! With its versatile shapes and designs, we transformed its card-friendly elements into a festive layout that captures holiday memories beautifully.
Techniques to Inspire Your Layouts
Here’s a closer look at the techniques we used to bring this layout to life:
- Borrowing Elements from Cards: By taking techniques and shapes from our recent cards, we carried over a cohesive look to the layout. Think stamped foliage clusters, layered die cuts, and soft ink blending.
- Coloring with Blends: Stampin’ Blends allowed us to add depth and dimension to the stamped images, creating focal points that pop off the page.
- A Touch of Sparkle: Adding shimmer with Wink of Stella brought just the right amount of festive sparkle, giving the layout a polished, joyful feel.
I hope this inspires you to think beyond cards and explore new ways to use your favorite stamp sets! Whether you’re a scrapbooker or looking to dive into memory keeping, the possibilities are endless when you think outside the box.
